Review: A Kiss for Luck by Kele Moon

I definitely recommend A KISS FOR LUCK for a little pick me up when you  need it! ~ Under the Covers

In this quickie by Kele Moon, Dr. Clara Evans and her firefighter best friend, Jackson Philips are spending New Year’s Eve working and alone. After a failed marriage, Clara is feeling bad about herself, seeing herself as unworthy to love and is quite bitter about her recent break-up. As the caring best friend, Jackson tries to comfort her and with some coaxing from a few glasses of wine, both of their secrets are slowly becoming revealed as the clock ticks closer to midnight, signaling a new beginning….for the both of them.

A KISS OF LUCK is downright steamy and for a short story, I was very impressed by Moon’s ability to create likeable characters and even delve deeper to explore their insecurities. Their hesitancy to explore each other shows just how much they truly mean to one another because they don’t want to mess things up for a steamy romp but everything felt very natural and right for these two.

I definitely recommend this short for a little pick me up when you  need it!
