If you’ve been reading the Bridesmaids Behaving Badly you’re bound to have been curious about the couple that were getting married in book 1.  I wanted to go a little behind the scenes of the HEA we missed out on.  And that’s what MERRILY EVER AFTER delivers.

Elise and Jay got married with the understanding that they wouldn’t have kids.  He never wanted any because of his own experiences with his father and she couldn’t have any so she thought she was ok with that.  Until she gets pregnant and that crashes into their marriage like a bomb they didn’t see coming.

This is a sweet story about a married couple having to deal with one obstacle in their relationship.  I always enjoy these types of stories and it was especially sweet to read because I wanted to know more about these two characters for a while.  We also get to see them from a completely different angle than just the falling in love part which I appreciated it.  And my favorite part was the friendship and support that this group of women give to each other.  Really, like family.

Perfect little sweet, pick me up holiday novella.  Maybe a little less of the holiday cheer than I was expecting but still perfectly fit for the season.
