“…it was exactly what I wanted it to be: funny and sweet.”
~ Under the Covers
Madison Hart is the town’s librarian and the sheltered daughter of the police chief. Ben Rosenberg is a successful lawyer whose family has buildings named after them. Madison is determined not to spend her next birthday the same way she spent her current one: bored and alone. Sick of being the good girl, she makes an insane proposition to Ben…make me bad.
I’ve been trying to expand my reading and sample new authors this year, so when I landed on Sweet Street in my romanceopoly challenge it was the perfect opportunity to try something new. I have never read R.S. Grey but I have heard good things and I love a romantic comedy so I picked up Make Me Bad. I am so glad I took a chance, it was exactly what I wanted it to be: funny and sweet.
Both Madison and Ben are essentially good people; Madison is sweet and naive but hilarious. Ben is a bit world weary, but basically a nice guy. You can’t help but want to see them finally get together. Especially as they had such great chemistry on the page, there was an immediate attraction between them which grows and deepens the more time they spend together.
Make Me Bad was an easy going read; it’s perfect if you want a book that’s a little fun and a little silly, that is going to leave you with a smile on your face. I am definitely going to be reading R.S. Grey again and would recommend this book to anyone who is in the mood for a light-hearted romantic comedy.
