ARC Review: Late in the Day by Mary Calmes

LATE IN THE DAY is the second book in the Vault series by Mary Calmes. I would highly suggest reading this series in order as they do follow a lot of the same characters. In this book, the two main heroes are faced with quite a lot in the beginning of the series. But despite all the drama and action that this book has, my favorite part of this book is simply the romance.

The romance has a little bit unconventionally in this book but that’s what makes it so special. If I reveal it here, I think it would kind of spoil the story, so it’s best to read it yourself. However, I think it might be a good thing to read MINE and maybe even FIT TO BE TIED, two earlier stories that Mary has written. The reason I say this is because the same characters come into play so if you really want to the full story, you should start at the beginning. It’s pretty cool how Calmes was able to integrate all these stories together and it proves once again how great of a writer Mary Calmes is.

If you haven’t read this series yet, I highly suggest you do. It has everything you want in a great M/M Romance, plus a whole lot of heart too.
