Don’t you ever feel like you need a little quick, pick me up read to improve your mood?  I love how this series has really short stories that manage to pack almost everything I need for my brain to not start putting roadblocks about “this couldn’t be happening” and just enjoy a fun escape.

As with the previous stories in this series, the hero Ryan is extremely cocky and can come across as a jerk.  You know no one does jerks better than Whitney G right?  There were some things about this story that reminded me of another book because the plot was so close.  We have a player billionaire hero that has made a compromise with the board of his company that he won’t be sleeping around  and try to improve his image so it doesn’t affect their stocks.  They’ve brought in multiple PR companies to do the job, and they’ve all quit on him and his antics.  Until Penelope takes on the job.

Penelope and Ryan have chemistry in spades.  If there’s one thing I always expect from this author is sizzling chemistry, whether it’s in or out of the bedroom, and she’s delivered on that again.  This book is packed with fun banter and I didn’t come up for air until I had finished it.  In one sitting.

If you’re not enjoying these fun shorts yet, then get on it.  It’s a quick sampler of what you’re in for if you read her full length books.  Fun and sexy rolled up in one cocky package.
