ARC Review: Claimed by Laurann Dohner and Kele Moon

Laurann Dohner and Kele Moon have restored my faith. In what you ask? Paranormal Romance. I have been bemoaning the fact that I haven’t had a good PNR read for ages, and it looks like Dohner and Moon have heard these heartfelt pleads and responded. And they responded with Claimed; one of the best PNR’s I have read in a while.

I know that whole paragraph seems over dramatic for a approximatley 250 page book and I do admit, although it is the best PNR I have read in a while -4 stars when it seems recently I have barely ventured past 3 stars- I can’t say it introduces anything new into the genre. And you know what? I am okay with that. Some of my favourite authors don’t offer anything new to their particular genre, what they do instead, is write something within the realms of the conventional, which is none the less compelling.

What we have with Claimed is a new shifter series which is both fun and sexy. Already we have the beginnings of a pack with some gorgeous alpha males that I can’t wait to read more about. The storyline may be predictable, you can almost see the whole road the entire series is going to take 50% of the first book, but that won’t stop me from enjoying that journey.

So, if you want a PNR that is going to get your blood heated and wishing you could find a werewolf of your very own to bite you and then sex you into submission, then you need to give Claimed a try.
