“The Alpha Pack is one of my go to shifter series and I can’t recommend it enough.”
~ Under the Covers

We are back in the Alpha Pack world and this is now Micah’s turn.  Micah was captured and tortured.  Since he came back to the pack, he’s been struggling.  Even sometimes wanting to end it all.  He’s become addicted to pills to numb the memories of what he was forced to do, and what was done to him.  And in the midst of all that, he finds his mate.

Jacee is a coyote shifter and she’s also a bartender at the local pub, who once had a fling with Jax.  The connection between Jacee and Micah is instant and without much fight from either one of them.  I really liked that.  It was just what I wanted to see for Micah because he’s already dealing with a lot of his own problems to add to that a mating that isn’t welcomed.

Jacee is pretty kickass and fiercely loyal and protective of her mate.  As is Micah.  Of course, together they must face not only the monsters of his addiction but the monsters of his past coming to find revenge.  Nick’s visions once again try to bring them to safety, but Micah isn’t out of the woods just yet.

This book had just the right combination of action, romance and pack.  The Alpha Pack is one of my go to shifter series and I can’t recommend it enough.  If you like your shifters and romantic suspense to come together, then look no further than these guys.  J.D. Tyler kicks ass at them.

  1. I swear every time I get books I always forget the books I wanted to buy… I could make a list but I fear it would be too long 🙂
