Charmingly Yours starts off very emotional when one of Rosemary’s close friends passed away. But even from the other side, her friend always had something to say. This time, it’s a request for her and the rest of the group to go on a specific adventure to follow their dreams. In Rosemary’s case, she is to explore on her own and go outside of her overbearing mom’s watchful eyes.

Rosemary takes a chance to New York for a quick mini vacay while she house sits for her cousin. While in New York, the plan is to go outside her comfort zone and live. She did just that. She will even try her luck in dating a guy she just met in the streets of Little Italy.

I loved the matchmaking Talley did in this story. I think Rose and Sal are a perfect match. They are opposites yet they seem to be a perfect fit. They bring out the best in each other and because they met, they both learned to stand up on their own. They were flirty, fun, and they made a very sweet couple.

I enjoyed the overall storyline. I found the coming of age and stepping away from your parent’s protection relatable and I found myself laughing at the similarities I went through while in college. The series will continue to the next friend, Jess who recently became a divorcee. Looks like her story will be of second chances which I love to read about. Perfectly Charming is scheduled to come out in September of this year. I’m hoping it will be just as good as this book if not better.
