Recommended Read!

If you’ve been paying attention for the last year I’ve been raving about the Consortium Rebellion series by Jessie Mihalik. CHAOS REIGNING is book 3 and it recently came out. I was so excited to dive into it and it didn’t disappoint.

This is perfect for fans of space operas with a slow burn romance and lots of political intrigue. My favorite thing is probably the political intrigue but in this book I really enjoyed the power play between our main characters. The heroine is part of a royal house and her image is that of a dumb socialite. She’s cultivated that image to hide the truth about her abilities. I loved how perceptive the hero was even when she wasn’t explicitly telling the truth about what she could do. He trusted her and let her take charge when it was necessary and he was man enough to let her lead. I absolutely loved that!

I can’t recommend this series enough and honestly I could continue reading more of these if the author released them. But I’ll certainly be on the lookout for more from her. . If you haven’t read these, start now! POLARIS RISING is book 1 and I think it’s best to read them in order.

  1. I have this on my tbr. I absolutely loved book 1 and thought book 2 was just eh. However, I have really enjoyed Catarina in both books so I’m looking forward her story!
