“You will not have the will to stop reading…Beyond Me is a fun, sweet and a very sexy read!!!” ~ Under the Covers
Beyond Me by Jennifer Probst is a part of a three book series with two other authors. The series is about three friends who ventures out to Key West to get the adventure of a lifetime. The Deal is for them to meet someone to sow their oats sort of speak…A spring break they will never forget. Beyond Me is Quinn’s story.
“Best. Spring. Break. Ever.” Yes. I just lived vicariously through Quinn’s story. I had a blast living through her eyes. Her experience of putting herself out there was such an adventure to read about. I was totally hooked on her story. And James, well, James is the college “man” you’d like to spend a week with. He is hot!!! Though the premise of a bet to bed a girl can be predictable, his overall persona just grabs you like an addiction. You will not have the will to stop reading.
I was impressed with the Quinn’s maturity. Not only she knew exactly what she wanted, she knew that growing up means it has to be done without any help. Considering her past, I’m sure it was through experience that she knew how to deal with this heartbreak. Ms. Probst did a switcheroo on the usual role of the hero saving the day. I won’t say much more than that, but she really impressed the hell out of me. Not to forget the hotness she brought to the story. James is sin!
I noticed this book was categorized as NA, but I thought it was more contemporary than anything. Yes, Quinn and James are in college age. Yes, there was a little angst, but this book is so hot, really hot. I thought it belonged in a more adult genre. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining. Actually, I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t expect to love it this much. Beyond Me is a fun, sweet and a very sexy read!!!
