“I enjoyed Avery Flynn’s third installment of Killer Style series, Make Me Up. It was a quick read packed with steam with a little suspense and mystery.” ~ Under the Covers

I enjoyed Avery Flynn’s third installment of Killer Style series, Make Me Up. It was a quick read packed with steam with a little suspense and mystery.

Drea is one of the well-known makeup artist around with clients who are wealthy and popular. Unfortunately, she got  caught up in a murder mystery where she is the main suspect. Lucky for her, she has a friend on her side who is willing to risk everything.

There was a little bit of angst between Drea and Cam.  The back and forth refusal to be committed was bit much to my liking since they technically had something already.  But I have to say, this couple is hot together. I love that Cam just wanted to do right by her.  With his background, he will use all his resources to their advantage.  What I love most is how he knew exactly what he wanted as far as when Cam is involved.  He just bid his time, do what was needed and then went for it.

Though this book is third of the series, It can be read as a stand-alone.  However, I can tell there were stories that I missed upon meeting some of the characters in this story.  I am definitely curious about them and would like to read the previous books sooner than later.
