ARC Review: Whisper to Me by Christina Lee

Rachel and Kai have been friends since childhood and when Rachel gets into a life threatening motorcycle accident, Kai is there for her every step of the way. Their friendship grew into a strong bond that could never be understood. But like manyfriendships, they drifted apart and ventured into adulthood, withRachel going to college and Kai in Amsterdam pursuing his love for music, keeping in touch became too much to handle. Rachel and Kai have amazing chemistry. It’s the typical best friend type love turned passionate with need and desire for the one who knows you best. It’s text book boy/girl relationshipgone wrong….or in this case, right. The sexual tension and passion Kai and Rachel have for one another is highly addictive. Their relationship was written as a real relationship would be in this specific situation; thoughts and pride getting in the way of what truly matters, their sexual attraction clouding up their judgment and the way they lean on each other for support. Not to mention the constant over analyzing of life and love while still trying to grow accustom to adulthood. Ah to be young again!

Oh and Kai, whew! Let me see, how can I put this into plain terms? Kai is delicious! He is sexy and seductive and talented and he talks dirty. Kai’s a dirty boy who likes dirty things and I think that I want to meet this fictional character and make him real so I can have him waiting for me every night. Is that too much to ask for? I think not! So, if you are in the mood for Young Adult drama with hot adult lovin’ you just might be looking at the right book for you. And while you’re there, send my love to Kai. *wink*
