Without a doubt, ROCK HARD is my favorite book in this series….The chemistry between Gabriel and Charlotte is on fire.” ~ Under the Covers

Why am I even surprised!?!?!  Nalini Singh is one of my absolute favorite writers and she continues to prove that with every book she writes.  Her characters make you care for them instantly and connect with their stories.  ROCK HARD is a perfect example of that because I wanted to devour the whole thing, and I did!

Stepping away from rock stars in a rock star series may seem like a weird thing to do, but this book about T-Rex was highly anticipated by many.  I know I was salivating for it.  I am here to tell you one thing.  T-Rex will own your heart.  He’ll take a bite and you will want more!  This book met and exceeded all my expectations.  I was giddy with excitement reading every single word and highly disappointed when I got to end. Much to quickly.

The chemistry between Gabriel and Charlotte is on fire.  Starts out with the banter and the bickering.  She’s mousy and he’s overbearing.  But then we see that change in her and there’s nothing better than seeing her take charge and stand up to T-Rex.  Even when inside she may still be a little scared of what may happen.  The dynamics of their relationship are amazing.  Job very well done Ms. Singh.  And yes, the sexual chemistry?  Off the charts!

Even though Gabriel is a sports star (retired) he doesn’t fit the sports romance hero mold.  He’s a billionaire, but he doesn’t fit the billionaire hero standard either.  He’s unique, he’s different, he’s perfect, and everything I know Ms. Singh knows what to do with a hero.  Have I mentioned how much I love him?  I may be gushing a bit.

The story line in this book run a bit parallel to ROCK ADDICTION and we see some of the things we missed when Molly was seeing some of the T-Rex interactions with her best friend Charlotte.  It filled in all the gaps I had and answered some questions as to what was going on there, that were the reason I was so antsy to get to their story.

Without a doubt, ROCK HARD is my favorite book in this series.  It rocked my world….hard. Heh pun intended.  Now gimme more!
