I fully recommend if you’re looking for a light, feel good romance

A fun and light romance, this was exactly the type of book I needed to read right now. A feel good, love story that just hits the spot and leaves you smiling by the end.

In an incredibly disastrous day, our main character Solange witnesses something that makes her sure the couple at the wedding she is at, is not meant to be. And worse yet, she is actually there helping her cousin with the organization of the event! Not even a guest! And of course, she decides that the best course of action, after meeting the lovely groom, is to stop the wedding and save him from a terrible mistake. From there, the story progresses and our two lovebirds will find each other again and start the well-known fake relationship trope that will have you laughing out loud.

What I loved the most was the Brazilian dynamic of Solange Pereira’s family. It was incredible! I loved how warm and how real the family was, and it was the perfect complement to the whole fake relationship going on between our two main characters.

A fake relationship that slowly becomes more, this is your typical fake dating romance and it’s just what you need. It really is a well-developed story that leaves you smiling and with all the feels. It’s a quick and easy read, and you just devour it as you go.

Our main characters are stubborn, and they very slowly start realizing they are developing feelings. There is a slow burn romance in the background that is perfectly done. By the end, you cannot wait for them to do the deed and become a real couple.

I have to admit that my favorite was Solange. I loved her commitment to her family, her strength and her sassiness. I liked Dean, but I didn’t love him. And I’m usually a sucker for these type of characters, but he sometimes felt a bit flat. A character that I would have liked to see a bit of more soul searching from him since he was so set against any type of love commitment.

BUT, it was a great read that I fully recommend if you’re looking for a light, feel good romance read to dive right into!
