Escalera has a great voice for Contemporary Romance. It’s fun and flirty, sweeping you up in a romance that is thrilling and passionate. I loved Kayla’s game-for-anything attitude, it really kept the chemistry fun and exciting. The dialogue in this novella is tautly-written and witty. Escalera isn’t afraid to play around with her characters and bring out the flirty side and I admire that about her writing.
