“THE PROBABILITY OF VIOLET AND LUKE follows the same vein as her other books. You can expect another cliff hanger ending (however this one isn’t so bad in my opinion), a handful of angst and some great sexual tension~ Under the Covers
Violet and Luke have everything standing in their way. A secret that keeps haunting them tears them apart. But even then, it seems like the two are still drawn together like magnets. Violet is connected to that awful “guardian” that takes advantage of her and manipulates her vulnerable mind while Luke is trying hard to resist the temptation of gambling. Both fail, yet Sorensen doesn’t allow them to give up hope.
THE PROBABILITY OF VIOLET AND LUKE follows the same vein as her other books. You can expect another cliff hanger ending (however this one isn’t so bad in my opinion), a handful of angst and some great sexual tension. Naturally, Sorensen likes to twist things here and there so that what you think is going to happen actually becomes more complicated as the book goes on. However, despite its tangled web of a plot, I think the gambling/suspense aspect of the book was intriguing. It held me captivated and I really felt for the character’s situation.
Another thing I like about the books in this series is that Sorensen hits the right notes when it comes to the hero’s POVs. Sometimes authors can try to make their heroes too hard, too badass, too over the top sexy that it comes off as contrived. Luke Price has the perfect balance of tortured bad ass hero who cares enough about the heroine to not want to taint her. It’s a hard thing to achieve, but the ease of reading this book also comes from Sorensen’s ability to get inside her character’s head. Luke Price ended up being a shining star in this book.
I noticed quite a few grammatical errors and typos this time. I’m hoping that doesn’t become something that gets overlooked because they can be glaringly obvious when you’re sucked into a book and come across one or two within a span of a few pages. Other than that, I am eager to find out how Luke and Violet will overcome the new discoveries they have made about Violet’s parents and if Luke and Violet will end up together at all.
