” I have enjoyed all the books in Ms. Clare’s Bluebonnet series including this one. The Bad Boy of Bluebonnet is a fun addition to this series.” ~ Under the Covers
This was a free read from Jessica Clare via Jessica Clare’s September Newsletter. I’m so glad I didn’t miss it. I have enjoyed all the books in Ms. Clare’s Bluebonnet series including this one. The Bad Boy of Bluebonnet is a fun addition to this series.
The promise of not having a single paranormal event kept true to its word and the premise connected to that pun was hilarious. Finding out the culprit of the ghostly noises had me laugh out loud. Clare is always good in putting in the humor in her stories.
We first see Jericho from the last installment, The Virgin’s Guide to Misbehaving. Yes, the bad boy in a motorcycle who decided to stay is also Rome’s brother. Bluebonnet has made its way to Jericho’s heart in the form of a bed and breakfast owner. We also see Emily in the last installment of this book. Emily is a little eccentric with her ghosts, but she tells no lies and in need of a hero. Of course, Jericho, the tatted, mohawked bike rider is the man to do the job.
I enjoyed Jericho and Emily. They are an unexpected pairing, but Clare had made them work. Their story was cute, funny and very sincere. As always in these short stories, my complaint is that it’s always too short. I’m hoping to get more of this series sooner than later.
