“Cecy Robson is a rising star…Sealed With a Curse is even better, funnier, more suspenseful, and more kick ass than its prequel” ~Under the Covers

Cecy Robson is a rising star and I’m glad to be a part of her beginning. Like I said on my review for The Weird Girls, she will make her mark with this series and this novel supports my prediction even more. Sealed With a Curse is even better, funnier, more suspenseful, and more kick ass than its prequel.

Though they were outcasts growing up, they are definitely making their place in the preternatural world. For the Wird Sisters, saving the world definitely “sucks donkey” balls but they know it must be done. They battle rogue vampires that are sweeping through Lake Tahoe. Infected Vamps be damned, they will protect each other, their new home, their new friends and do it “rambo-meets-Bridget Jones Style”.  These girls can kick ass like there’s no tomorrow.

Ms. Robson brought four preternatural sisters, master vamp that is a “perfect replica of man and Greek God combined” and pure blooded royalty wolf that can cause “nipplus erectus”. With that, she added “supernatural smack downs”, secondary characters that are frequently naked with “butt cheeks tight enough to crush wood”. What more can I ask for?

I love every bit of this book. The world building is amazing, well developed characters, funny banters, and action scenes page after page.  Celia, Taran, Shayna and Emme had me laugh out loud, awed by their sisterhood and cheer for their triumphs.  These girls including their creator are ones to watch out for, indeed.

  1. my kind of story! thanks for the review. I love the title font they used on the cover 🙂 (just note… her twitter addy in the rafflecopter is wrong. There is a ‘d’ on the end that doesn’t belong)

    thanks!
