“[Cahoon] did a good job of creating an engaging story despite the very short word count.”
~ Under the Covers
This is my first ever read from Lynn Cahoon. I wanted to try this series because I liked the sound of the concept but another thing that drew me to this novella was the fact that it was also holiday themed.
SANTA PUPPY is book 9.75 in the Tourist Trap mystery series and you definitely don’t need to read the others to enjoy this one. I really like Cahoon’s writing style. It’s quite simple and easy to read, so I think that helped me in jumping into this series in the middle of it.
I really like the dog aspect to this story. It added a lot more cuteness to an already sweet read. Jill was a great character and I’m sure that I will enjoy her even more when I read the other books in the series. But I thought that the author did a good job of creating an engaging story despite the very short word count. I look forward to reading more of Lynn Cahoon.
