“Not only does it give us a great romance, but it lays out the groundwork that has me already anxious to read at least the next 3 books!  Talk about creating an addition.” ~ Under the Covers

When I first heard about Ms. Singh’s decision to go back to contemporary romance, my first thought was  “She can do no wrong, I’m in!”  And I’m happy to report that I enjoyed ROCK ADDICTION a lot!

Ms. Singh writes amazing characters, there’s no doubt about it.  From heroes that you can’t help but want and love, to heroines that make you cheer them on.  Fox was all that and more for me.  He’s sexy and badass.  I love a man who is determined and knows what he wants.  And he wants Molly almost with a single-minded focus and goes after her.  Then with that same focus he works to keep her.  I am a sucker for all that intensity!

Then there’s Molly.  She’s a bit less confident than I usually like but she manages to grow into her own throughout the book.  From not wanting a relationship with someone in the public eye like a rock star to being strong enough to withstand the craziness that their life together will be, full of fans and paparazzi.  She’s just a heroine you can easily relate to!

Molly and Fox are definitely hot together.  They have great chemistry and maybe that’s what got me to overcome the insta-love.  Fox is a dirty talker, and he likes to make Molly forget about any issues by having sex.  There is plenty of sexy times, all very sensual.  But maybe a bit too much of it.  But even when it’s not all about sex, these two are fun to read about.  This is one of the things Ms. Singh does best.  She can make any story work and make me believe.

ROCK ADDICTION is sweet and very sexy, even if predictable.  I loved that we didn’t get any unnecessary drama and that once Fox sets his sights on Molly he stays true to her.  I found by the end that was important to me.  Fans be warned, this is not your typical Singh writing style.  And not because of the genre change. More on the way she tells this story.

This sets the perfect backdrop for the series.  Not only does it give us a great romance, but it lays out the groundwork that has me already anxious to read at least the next 3 books!  Talk about creating an addition.  I love all the men of Schoolboy Choir!
