“Would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for something short and steamy!” ~Under the Covers

At a company party, Mia finds out that there is a bet going around that she is not wearing any underwear. Unfortunately, due to an accident, it’s true. Luckily, the office hottie, Jake, is on her side.

Mia was very easy to like and feel sympathetic towards. Her friends were hilarious and always had her back. Jake was adorable and I especially liked how he was surprised at the things he wanted to do with Mia.

I really enjoyed this short but sweet story. Jake and Mia had really good chemistry and some very steamy scenes. My favorite was when they were in the meeting room.

The “inner hussy” was a bit too reminiscent of the Fifty’s “inner goddess” but other than it being too short, I really liked it and would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for something short and steamy!

Favorite quote:

♥ “I saw you across the room tonight and couldn’t not go and talk to you. The most I was really hoping for was one dance.”

About Dena Garson

We all lead very busy lives with multiple roles, and I'm no different. I'm a mother, employee, author, jewelry designer, daughter and sister. And not necessarily in that order! We share our home with a very loving and loyal Labrador-mix dog named Sadie and a spoiled grey tabby, Bijous. As the mother of two rowdy boys, I can often be found on the practice field or sidelines of some sport (football is huge in our house!).

  1. This is why I have a love/hate relationship with novellas – I always fall in love with them, but they’re always too short 😉 However, they can be just what I need to recharge & refresh my brain between longer books.

    Thanks for the review!
