“This novella gave me a dose of satisfaction to tie me over for the next installment of Inside Out Trilogy.” ~Under The Covers

I instantly became a fan of Ms. Jones since reading IF I WERE YOU last year.  And since then, I have been waiting for any kind of read that is related to this series.  This novella gave me a dose of satisfaction to tie me over for the next installment of Inside Out Trilogy.

In IF I WERE YOU, we see bits and pieces of Rebecca Mason through the journals that was found by the heroine Sara McMillan.  In that novel, we read about Sara’s adventures in her journey to find out more about Rebecca.  Since Sara has only but a few of the journals, the mystery about her is really thick and full of unanswered questions. Well, here in The Seduction, Ms. Jones is giving us more of Rebecca story.

Rebecca is at the lowest time of her life and she decides to take the plunge and be more daring. Taking chances with things she never would before. The first step landing her a new job and a man that will change her every sexual being. With that said, this journals are all about her experience. We  read about everything that happens and what she is feeling…raw and unedited.

I was kept engaged with every page.  I love that these are in a “diary” format. It was cool to see the dates and progress of her story.   Rebecca’s feelings, fears and the beginning of her submissive lifestyle all for us to see. We also get a glimpse of the characters from If I Were You, which was great because it just validates that Sara is on the right track to unveiling the mystery.

Please take note that these journals are “Rebecca’s Lost Journals” meaning Sara does not have access to them, only “us” as readers do.  Thank you Ms Jones, this is quite a treat for us.

Though this is a great read as is, I do recommend to read IF I WERE YOU first.  I think you will understand Rebecca just a tad more and why you would want to read her private journals.
