ARC Review: Read, Write and Love by Addison Cole

READ, WRITE AND LOVE AT SEASIDE is the first book in a series by Addison Cole. This series is a Sweet Romance, meaning that there is a love story, but it isn’t too explicit. I think if you’re a beachy Contemporary fan or just want to read something light as the weather warms up, this is a nice one to try.

I immediately fell in love with the hero of this book. Kurt is a bestselling Thriller author and he’s come to Cape Cod to find some alone time to write. However, he is disturbed by a loud and frantic woman calling for her dog outside. Like the gentleman he is, he goes out to help her.

While I think Leanna is a sweetheart, she is a handful in my eyes. She’s such a ball of energy that I do feel like she can steal the spotlight a bit. There were times where I thought she was a bit too much and I had to disregard some logic but I still think she’s a charming character. For me, however, Kurt was the one that made this book. I love this easygoing attitude. It matched the Seaside feel of this book perfectly.

I’m definitely looking forward to reading the other books in the series. Cole’s writing is smart, sweet and just the right amount of sexy, creating the perfect escape for the summer!
