It gets harder and harder to review Kristen Ashley books, I feel I am repeating myself over and over again; boring everyone with my raving fan girl verbal drool ~ Under the Covers
Zara Cinders has been in love with Graham “Ham” Reece for a long time, but his lifestyle rolling from place to place, woman to woman doesn’t seem likely to change. So she settles, doing the hardest thing she has ever done and cutting Ham out of her life for good. When Zara’s life she settled for crumbles, Ham comes back determined never to let her walk away from him again.
It gets harder and harder to review Kristen Ashley books, I feel I am repeating myself over and over again; boring everyone with my raving fan girl verbal drool. But I can’t help it. Every time I open up one of her books, and Jagged is no exception, I am transported to my happy place where the guys are all hot ‘n alpha and the gals are funny ‘n feisty.
There is something though that I need to get this out of my system; the one thing that bugged me about this book. Ham. What kind of nick name is Ham? Ham just isn’t sexy, I kept just wanting to watch Babe whilst eating a sandwich, a ham sandwich. So in the end in my head I nicknamed him Gray. But name niggle aside, I really liked him he was sexy, he was alpha and although he wasn’t my favourite KA hero, he rocked my world whilst I was reading this. As did Zara, she was another great heroine, funny and smart I really liked her. I liked that she had the strength to walk away from Graham when she knew he wouldn’t give her what she wanted.
Together Graham and Zara were a great couple, but I also liked seeing characters from other books in Jagged. One of the best things, apart from the fabulous romance, about a KA book is the array of warm and funny secondary characters, or previous characters that appear in the book. Reading her books is like being invited back into a close family as you reacquaint yourself with all the eccentric characters that populate the KA universe.
Again I am repeating myself, but this was another great book from Kristen Ashley, it had a sweet and steamy romance; heart warming moments and laughs and she has left me on tenterhooks waiting for her next book.

I love Miss Kristen and cannot wait to dig into this one!! Thank you for sharing your review!!
Suz – I know what you mean about writing reviews for Miss Ashley. It really is hard to try to write something constructive instead of just totally fangirling all over the place. I mean there really isn’t much else to say about her. Kristen Ashley is just awesome and in a league of her own. I honestly have not read one book of hers that I did not absolutely love.
I have got to start reading KA!
I have so many KA books on my TBR– I need to get moving! Any suggestions for what would be the best?
I’d like to know too!
Repeat away! I like these too and I feel like I keep saying the same excited adjectives to describe them. Thanks!
I have read so many Kristen Ashley books that it’s gotten hard for me to review her books. No one writes books that completely win me like KA. Great review!
I have been reading more contemporary romances lately and I am looking for some variety in the authors I usually read. I think Kristen Ashley is one I need to check out and I love the fact that this is a series.
I am a new KA reader, I have purchased a number of her back list but decided to go back to Mystery Man after reading the series spinoff. So far I have enjoyed what I have read and Shy Cage is in my top for alphas.
