ARC Review: Hit Me With Your Best Scot by Suzanne Enoch

If you’re unfamiliar with Suzanne Enoch’s writing, I find that her Highlander Romance are much more rougher than her Regency Romances. I guess that’s to be expected since we’re talking about Highlanders here.

But I found that this book was a little slow for me. I wasn’t fully engaged in Coll’s character and therefore, it took me a while to get through this book. Some parts were slow and other times I wished that there was more going on. It’s definitely not a bad book, but perhaps I was just expecting more. Nevertheless, I wish that Enoch infused this series with a bit more humor like she does with her other series. Even if you have a burly Highlander, it was her charming characters that made me come back for more.
