“HIGH PASSION is full of adrenaline and chemistry.  Alisha and Devon were melting the pages (and me!) but also melting my heart.  This book was truly perfect! ” ~Under the Covers

I loved the concept of this series when I read the first book, HIGH RISK, and of course it was hot as hell.  But I was anxiously awaiting to read about this couple.  Alisha and Devon were always bickering and you could just tell once they gave in to their desires they would sizzle.

And sizzle they did!  HIGH PASSION is full of adrenaline and chemistry.  Alisha and Devon were melting the pages (and me!) but also melting my heart.  This book was truly perfect!  Everything I wanted for them and from them.  The story kept me on my toes and turning the pages.

Alisha has a secret.  Who she is and where she comes from.  And that all catches up with her in HIGH PASSION.  She has to deal with her sense of inadequacy that her father always leaves her with because she’s not living up to the society standards he wants for her.  Instead she’s risking her life climbing and rescuing people, living in a small apartment in a small town.

Devon has decided it’s time that he confronts the passion they’ve had between them.  It was long overdue.  Little did he know it’s always been more than that.  Alisha challenges him to be better, and he’s been rising to that challenge for years.  They both admire each other and drive each other forward.

I enjoyed the suspense element in this book.  It wasn’t over the top but kept things interesting with just the right amount of romance and suspense.

HIGH PASSION was one of my recommended reads from what I read last month and I highly encourage you to take a look.  One of my favorite Vivian Arend books!

Favorite Quote:

“I’m seeing stars.” Devon chuckled. “I left the stars a few hundred miles back.  I’m into the outer reaches of the galaxy already.”
