GABRIELโ€™S REDEMPTION possesses everything we love about the series โ€“ elegant characters, sophisticated writing and a dash of trouble. It always makes for a good read. ~ Under the Covers

In the final and thrilling instalment to the Gabrielโ€™s Inferno series, Sylvain Reynard pens the perfect happily-ever-after for Julia and Gabriel. Both have come so far for each other, but that doesnโ€™t mean everything is smooth sailing at the start of this book.

What I love about this author and his writing is that thereโ€™s a flourish to every word he puts down on paper. Itโ€™s eloquent and sophisticated. I always feel a little more classy whenever I had this book in my hands. For me, what really capture the essence of the story werenโ€™t just the characters or the interesting plot. It was the writing. Seriously, nothing quite beats good writing. I devoured this book because it was so easy to read.

Julia and Gabriel are now married. But with that ring and that commitment, there are other obstacles that stand in their way. Gabriel wants something that Julia isnโ€™t ready for and as they face each other in this battle of wills, we see just how strong they are as a couple. External forces also put pressure on the two, creating more separation and more heartache. It will test them and everything that Reynard has built throughout this series will be put under the telescope, examining if Julia and Gabriel are really right for each other.

There were two characters who I really enjoyed reading about. Paul still habors great feelings for Julia and isnโ€™t quite ready to give up on her. It puts Gabriel on alert and because of Paulโ€™s presence in the book, readers get to see a jealous side of Gabriel that was very entertaining. Similarly, Christa, a jealous and manipulative character tries to damage Gabriel and Juliaโ€™s relationship from every angle she can think of. Her presence definitely spiced up the book and created a few shocking scenes that I thought added a little flavour.

Although Iโ€™m saddened to have this series end, I will say that I was very happy with the ending. All strings have been tied up and Reynard really does a great job of closing off this series while still having readers want more. Iโ€™m looking forward to Reynardโ€™s next projects. I hope they are as all-consuming as this one.

Unbridled passion and the strength of love is tested in the latest instalment of the Gabrielโ€™s Inferno series. GABRIELโ€™S REDEMPTION possesses everything we love about the series โ€“ elegant characters, sophisticated writing and a dash of trouble. It always makes for a good read.
