“Ms Callahan did an awesome job bringing Dragonfury’s villain to his knees.” ~ Under the Covers

Ms Callahan did an awesome job bringing Dragonfury’s villain to his knees. Who knew Ivar had a soft side much less sexy side. I surely didn’t expect it.

Fury of Fate was originally a part of a short story book set called My Bloody Valentine. If you didn’t already know, it is a novella connected to the Dragonfury series. This is Ivar’s short story.

Fury of Fate starts shortly after Fury of Desire had ended. Ivar is grieving the loss of his comrades when he meets a woman who will knock him on his ass; figuratively and literally. A match for this villain indeed, Sasha only plans to use him. Despite his rough and dangerous persona that Ivar projects, she is not fazed by him. She has her mind set to take only what she needs.

Wouldn’t you know it, Ivar gives to her.

Coreene shows us Ivar’s vulnerable time of his life as he grieves his fallen comrades. She also shows us a bit, no, a lot of his sexy side. I’m going to be honest, I didn’t think I would like him but reading about this side of him is certainly an eye opener. There maybe hope for him yet. She did an excellent job pulling me into Ivar’s story and left me wanting for more.

Yes, there is a bit of a cliffhanger. Ivar does not get his HEA…just yet. But I’ll tell you this much, You will look at him with a different light.
