ARC Review: Fish and Ghosts by Rhys Ford

FISH AND GHOSTS becomes a book that stands out as unique and sexy! ~ Under the Covers

FISH AND GHOSTS is the first in Rhys Ford’s Hellsinger series. Tristan Pryce returns to his family estate, the Hoxne Grange after the unfortunate death of his Uncle Mortimer. He is now tasked with running the estate that has been haunted for years. However, Dr. Wolf Kincaid and his paranormal researchers from Hellsinger Investigations, are hired to put this to rights and debunk the idea of a haunted house and ghosts. As their meeting starts off as business, it soon turns into something far more carnal than either of them expected.

Ford creates such a spooky ambience for this book. I loved the lush descriptions, the kooky characters and the paranormal aspect to this storyline. It definitely makes it unique and highly entertaining. There are some instances where I thought the narrative strayed a little bit, resulting in some slower parts. However, it always tightens up once again and works itself out.

If there was one word I had to use to describe this, it would be fun. It’s really enjoyable to see these two vastly different men finding love in each other. Paired with the upbeat dialogue and the ghost hunting, FISH AND GHOSTS becomes a book that stands out as unique and sexy!
