It’s been a while since I listened to a Rainbow Rowell audiobook so I decided to jump into this cult favorite. FANGIRL was exactly what I thought it would be. Fun and endearing, Rowell’s writing will no doubt make you fall in love. I love the gentle humor and sarcasm in this book. It certainly captures the essence of youth and their struggles well. But I also really enjoyed the family aspect that this book had too.
If you listen to this book in audiobook, I think you will be in for a treat. Both narrators do a good job of bringing this story to life and I think it brings an added touch to the books. Although Young Adult in style, I can definitely see people of all ages enjoying this book because it isn’t simply about a teen’s struggle through college. It’s about growth and development and everyone can relate to that.
