“If you’re a fan of M/M romance and haven’t read Josh Lanyon before, you are definitely missing out big time. ” ~ Under the Covers

FAIR PLAY takes us back to ex-FBI agent Elliot Mills and his lover Tucker where trouble finds them in the form of Elliot’s father. Well, it’s not really his father that is causing all the havoc for them, it’s actually someone out to get him.

After a fire that nearly kills him, Elliot is rightly propelled back into action, his FBI instincts kicking in once again to help his father. However, it is clear from the very beginning that his father is not telling him everything he needs to know about who might be out to get him.

As the stakes escalate and more threats on their lives are made, Elliot and Tucker also experience a few ups and downs in their relationship as they try to figure out where the both of them stand.

I’ve been a fan of Josh Lanyon for a long time. Excellent writing and mystery are what you can expect from this author. The only thing holding me back from this story was the connection with the characters. I didn’t feel it as much as Lanyon’s previous characters in other books and series. However, that doesn’t mean that this isn’t a solid story. It’s just not my favorite by this author.

If you’re a fan of M/M romance and haven’t read Josh Lanyon before, you are definitely missing out big time. Lanyon’s voice is flawless and provides that perfect amount of humor and snark to an engaging plot that makes each story a joy to read.

  1. Thanks for the review. I just finished Fair Game this morning on my break and enjoyed it. I am not starting on Fair Play.
