“If you liked Cash before, his twin bad boy NASH will steal your heart!” ~Under the Covers

I admit I wasn’t as excited as probably some of the fans of this series going into this book.  I’ve always had an issue with the heroine, Olivia, who happens to be a bit too immature “new adult” for me.  Even though Cash has always been sexy as hell!

Yes, SPOILER WARNING because what I’m about to say is only something you would know if you read book 2…or the blurb for this book! LOL  So this book isn’t about the same hero and heroine we’ve read about before, even though it continues the same storyline.  This is the conclusion of the story from Nash and Marissa’s POV.  Yes, NASH and Marissa.

I wasn’t quite sure how I felt about Marissa as the heroine.  She’s been self absorbed throughout the whole series, but guess what?  She rocked it!  She is the rich, spoiled girl who has been under her father’s thumb too long and wants to follow what works for her.  She’s tired of living her life for others.  The kidnapping was just the thing to snap her out of her lifestyle.

Nash is everything she shouldn’t want.  He’s the true bad boy, he’s lived that life and looks that part, and not just because he owns a club.  Yeah, he might’ve killed and been involved with drug lords.  He’s dangerous to the core, and SEXY AS ALL HELL!   If you liked Cash before, his twin bad boy NASH will steal your heart!

The storyline in this book was much more interesting and flowed well.  Kept my interest the whole time.  It was a great ending to this series and by far my favorite book by M. Leighton.  A lot of that really was because of Nash.  M. Leighton sure knows how to write the best heroes!  Now, I’m looking forward to what she has in store for us next.  Maybe what happens to Gavin?

Favorite Quotes:

“But you like it, don’t you? You like me like this. You want me to take what I need. You want to be free with me, don’t you?”

“I’m not taking a chance. I feel like I can’t breathe without you. I’m just doing what I need to do to survive. It’s as simple as that.”
“Then let me be your air,” he says quietly.”

“I crave everything he represents. He feels like rebellion. And freedom. Like a salvation of sorts. I just didn’t know until recently that I needed saving.”
