“…despite being New Adult (blargh) it made me fall in love with all the characters and had me laughing,” Under the Covers
We at last come to the serial finale! Will Martin and Kaitlyn finally pull their fingers out and get together? Or will they spend the rest of their days wasting away from unfulfilled love for one another? The torture of the serial is now over and I have thoroughly enjoyed the ride, despite the near constant whinging about the wait between installments.
Almost as much as the romance, I have enjoyed seeing Kaitlyn grow up and gain her own strength, even if the catalyst was meeting Martin and having her heartbroken. She has gone from hiding in closets…to doing other much more enjoyable things in closets. And why wouldn’t you want to snuggle with Martin in the closet? Kaitlyn wasn’t the only one has changed over the course of this book, and I loved seeing them together.
I can’t explain why this installment of the book didn’t excite me as much as the previous two, maybe it was because I knew how it was going to end. I no longer had the sense that Penny Reid was about to send me spinning and then leave me twirling till the next installment came around.
Overall I have really enjoyed reading Elements of Chemistry, despite being New Adult (blargh) it made me fall in love with all the characters and had me laughing, I can’t wait to see what’s next in the Hypothesis series.

Thanks for the review Suzanne
I really enjoyed this installment but was a little nervous on how it would all come together.
Are these available in paperback?
I kinda ended the series with the previous book, so I know what you mean. Good review though.
I typically don’t read NA either, but I had been following some of the author’s comments as she was writing this, and I loved the tidbits she had shared. So I went ahead and read it, and was blown away. Did you read all 3 parts at once or with breaks in between? Because let me tell you, reading all 3 back to back gave me such a book hangover. I can’t wait for the first of the Winston Brothers books, which should be coming out soon. 🙂
