This is a review for a book that I’m really excited about! CHOOSE YOUR SHOT is a kinky take on a classic childhood favorite. It’s a “choose your adventure” type novel but of the erotic romance nature. I thought this was such a neat idea and since I can’t give a summary of the book because each story will differ based on what the reader chooses, I decided to do a little play-by-play of my own adventure and give you a little commentary on that instead!

So Tegan is at a new BDSM club Mavericks. It has just reopened and new play things are out and ready to be used. A lot of new and old members are lurking around looking for a playmate for the night, including Tegan!

Tegan finds Eli, a good friend and a great Dom and they decide to play. Here you can choose option 1: sex swing or option 2: rope bondage. I was feeling particularly adventurous so I went with all the kinkest options to choose from – the sex swing.

I was in for a treat because that scene was pretty hot! I do think sometimes the scenes are a little short, but there are some sex scenes where the author takes her time and those for me are my favorites.

After that scene, I decided to leave Eli and play with someone else. Bad girl, I know but it’s my adventure! So too bad! I went down to the dungeon next and slide into Domme mode. (See, I told you I picked the most adventurous option).

Here Tegan gets to play with Adam, a co-worker and well this is where the story takes on a filthier side. You can choose between option 1: strap on and option 2: nipple clamps and paddle. I’ll let you guess which one I chose J

I loved this scene. It was sexy and passionate and one of the longer scenes so you were really able to enjoy it without interruptions and more options. After this, I decided to leave Adam and search for Eli (This was where my need for romance arose).

I went back to the rope bondage scene and got another little surprise there! I almost regretted not choose the rope bondage option in the very beginning.

After this, I decided to take Tegan home and you can decide who shows up at your door. I was a little bad and chose Master Grant, just to see how that would pan out. When I realized I didn’t like that ending too much, I backtracked and picked Eli, the one I should have gone with. And because it was my story, I also decided to go back and read Adam and Master Thomas’s ending as well.

All in all, I really enjoyed this novel and its unique interactive element. I had A LOT of fun reading it and would definitely recommend it to friends for something different to read. If this author decides to write more of these type of novels, I will be sure to try them out!
