Well! I always find myself at such a loss as to how to strongly convey in a new way how amazing a writer Kristen Ashley is. When I embark upon reading a new work by Kristen I am always filled with so much excitement because I am positive that I will get all the feels from cover to cover. Chasing Serenity delivered as always, 100% satisfaction. I will remain in wonderment of Kristen’s talent and the magic she wields when she gifts us with more of her prowess of the written word.
With Chasing serenity she gifts us the love story of Chloe and Judge, as well as many supporting characters that fingers crossed will be the stars of future releases in the River Rain series. Chloe is a strong and fiercely loyal woman who greatly values family , something I feel is so very important in life. The understanding that family is everything. Judge is a delicious alpha male that Kristen always creates so so well and boy, is he what I think so many of us dream of. Their love story is frustrating, heart warming, and 130 degrees of HOT! If you are already a Kristen Ashley fan I’m sure this has already hit your kindle, mailbox etc and if you are new to Kristen Ashley’s written work well then go and one click this gift ASAP! Once you are done with Chasing Serenity you will be oh so happy to discover that her backlist is long and all sorts of awesome. As I have said many many times, you are oh so welcome since I know you will thank me later.
In a year that has been so difficult in different ways for us all, I say thank you Kristen for giving us another piece of joy that we all so very much need right now. Now whilst I wait for another release of Ms. Ashley’s I will have to content myself with rereads of her other works, at least I know I will always enjoy revisiting another one of her wonderful love stories.

I go through genre phases at times but will read just about anything romance with the exception of NA/YA which I tend to stay away from. I have read some romances with MM roles however it is not what I prefer unless there is a Menage MMF relationship. The vast availability of talented work by so many authors and all at the click of a button make it feel like it’s Christmas every day and my wallet feels it as well, though sometimes some books I buy feel like lumps of coal in my stocking. I am trying to get on track with using Goodreads so I can keep it all straight. I live for the moments when I can lay in the sun on a beautiful island destination with my family, a tropical drink nearby, and my trusty paperwhite in hand, or just spending quality time with great friends, family or a book on my nook or kindle!
