Laura Griffin starts Beyond Limits with heart-thumping suspense scene hooking you to read the rest of the story. The suspense was nerve racking, the romance was sweet and the ending moved me. I enjoyed every bit of this book.

Navy Seal, Derek Vaughn and FBI Agent, Elizabeth LeBlanc teams up to stop a terrorist on American soil. The fact that they are coming from different sides of the spectrum working through their differences will be difficult to achieve. They will disagree on many things, but trust will be their biggest issue.

I loved Derek and Elizabeth’s story. They both respected each other and didn’t hold the other back from what they wanted to do. Instead, they encouraged each other. They were both sweet, romantic and hot enough to steam up the pages.

Beyond Limits is the eighth book in the Tracers series but rest assured, this book is a stand alone. Thanks to the ladies at my book club who encouraged me to jump right in. I did meet a few of the characters that I’m sure were on the previous books that I plan to explore later.

Far Gone was my first Griffin read that I enjoyed a lot but I’m going to admit that Beyond Limit is way better in every way. I trust that all the books in this series will be just as good. If you like romantic suspense with just the right amount of romance, I recommend giving Griffin a go.
