“Ms. Kaye delivered it with style, complete with humor, swoon worthy hero, an HEA with enough romance, and a good amount of sexy.” ~Under the Covers

I have become an automatic fan of Ms Kaye after reading Hometown Girl (Redhook #.5).  Ms. Kaye delivered as I predicted.  BACK TO YOU is just as heartwarming, sexy and definitely enthralling as its prequel.

Ms Kaye wrote a story of second chances not only for Storm and Bree but Nikki and a lost dog. A story of abandoned individuals and how they can rise up from a bad situation with the help of others that can and do care. And finally, realizing that finding true love is more than a possibility.

Storm Decker never thought to come back to the Red Hook neighborhood of Brooklyn. His memories of where he grew up were not the best. He has worked hard to make something of himself and going back to Brooklyn was not part of his plans. But his foster dad Pete has become ill and his family needs him. Bree also grew up in Redhook. She has become Pete’s “right hand man” and is now in charge of his care and his family owned bar. Bree and Storm grew up together but it was never a sibling relationship between them. It was more like teen love. Time has passed and it’s time to find out if their childhood feelings are more than they ever felt.

I love reading about Storm and Bree. Their story was dreamy and I love to see
what-ifs tales get their happy-ever-after. The secondary characters were also a treat, especially Nikki who just made my eyes tear from her past and sweet comments. Not to forget, a glimpse of the sexy Simon, the bartender from Hometown Girl was an added bonus.

Ms. Kaye delivered it with style, complete with humor, swoon worthy hero, an HEA with enough romance, and a good amount of sexy. I recommend this to anyone who gets weak kneed from a successful, romantic and sexy heroe because Storm is exactly that!

About Robin Kaye

Robin Kaye was born in Brooklyn, New York and grew up in the shadow of the Brooklyn Bridge next door to her Sicilian grandparents. Living with an extended family that’s a cross between Gilligan’s Island and The Sopranos, minus the desert isle and illegal activities, explains both her comedic timing and the cast of quirky characters in her books.

She’s lived in half a dozen states from Idaho to Florida, but the romance of Brooklyn has never left her heart. She currently resides in Maryland with her husband, three children, two dogs, and a three-legged cat with attitude.
