If you’re a fan of big families, cute romances and friends to lovers stories, than this book is definitely for you. ~ Under the Covers
I’ve been anxiously waiting for Josh books since ALL HE EVER NEEDED. Authors always seem to save the best brother for last.
Josh Kowalski is overworked. Burdened by the responsibilities of running the family lodge, Josh wishes for a way out. Having never been out of Maine, he desires a chance to simply relax and be someone else. However, throwing out all his responsibilities doesn’t seem to be the right answer at the moment.
Katie is the daughter of Rosie, the housekeeper of Northern Star Lodge, which makes her and Josh long time friends. Katie has harbored feelings for Josh for eons, yet Josh is completely oblivious of her feelings. In the beginning, he is stunned to hear that others believe they are made for each other. It’s actually kind of cute that he is so clueless to it all.
I really enjoyed this book. There were a lot of cute moments, but I also wished for more from the hero and heroine. Together, they are just as fantastic as everyone said they would be, but getting to that point is what I would have liked to explore further. Everyone sort of knows that it’s a great match, but I wanted to see more of WHY they are a good match and HOW they came to be so perfect for one another.
If you’re a fan of big families, cute romances and friends to lovers stories, than this book is definitely for you. I would recommend reading this particular series in order. Lots of past characters make appearances and since it’s a family –oriented series, you’ll enjoy it more if you know the other characters as well.
