“This book is surprisingly simple yet immensely gratifying as well.”

I almost thought this book wouldn’t be released. ALWAYS AND FOREVER, LARA JEAN is the last book in the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before series by Jenny Han. After falling head over heels in love with the first two books in the series, I was desperate for more. The book was pushed back and I started to worry about what this would mean for Lara Jean and Peter. Both are heading into college and as many of you know, this milestone comes with many changes. With their relationship still fresh, will their love be able to survive?
As expected, this book put a smile on my face. Please don’t go into this book expecting major conflict. Han does a good job of giving readers what they want by keeping the tone similar to the first two books in the series but it doesn’t rehash the same emotions and conflicts.
There are so many cute moments between Lara Jean and Peter. I’ve shipped them from the very beginning of this series so I’m happy to see them on steady ground in this book. You can also expect lots of baking and also some great family moments as well. This book is surprisingly simple yet immensely gratifying as well.
While I’m sad that this series has come to an end, I definitely think it’ll remain a favorite. Oh, and I would recommend trying this series out in audiobook if you can. The narrator does an amazing job of bringing this story to life.
