It may be a little early, at least for me, to dive into Holiday romances but be sure to add this one to your list. A MERRY LITTLE MEET CUTE was surprisingly adorable! I was sold from the very beginning. Call me a sucker for these cute setups but the fact that they are both each others number one fans was the best part for me. He’s literally one of her top tier subscribers and has no problem telling her that. I loved that about their relationship.
The support and community Bee had around her was great as well. She’s not ashamed of her work and at the same time has more goals for her life. Lots of sex and body positivity in this book, but also still dealing with the topics of fatphobia and slut-shaming. But overall we have a great cast of side characters that made this incredibly fun.
But back to the romance. The chemistry between Bee and Nolan was palpable and since this is co-written by Sierra Simone I was also expecting this to be spicy. It delivers. This book was steamy! And that never took away from really sweet and adorable moments, both in “real life” and during the filming of the movie.
in conclusion
If you’re looking for the entertaining and sexy read this holiday season, A MERRY LITTLE MEET CUTE will deliver that combination to perfection. All the holiday romance of a Hallmark movie but add all the details you usually have to fill in with your mind.
