This has been one of my best discoveries as of late. I’ve been really enjoying the world that Hailey Turner created. It’s gritty and complex but presented in a way that you can easily follow along. I love the main characters and each book presents a great “battle” or case they have to work on.
In A CROWN OF IRON AND SILVER we are delving into the Fae world and of course the Gods have to be involved. A human child is abducted from a renowned witch family and replaced with a changeling which sends Patrick on a search that leads him to more Fae abductions. This will also bring people back from his past. All the while their new pack led by Jono is under constant attack and has to prove their position in New York City.
If you are looking for a true urban fantasy series with some great world building and interesting stories in each installment, then you’ll want to pick up this series. And definitely read it in order. But once you’re in it, you’ll be hooked. This book has action, intrigue, politics, mythology and of course some sexy romance and even humor. I can’t wait for the next one.
