” A Bad Boy for Christmas is an entertaining holiday read, and Ms. Lemmon did not disappoint.”
~ Under the Covers

After a big disappointment from the last book in this series, I was a bit worried about this installment. I wasn’t sure if this series had caught my attention with the first book and stopped there. I’m happy to tell you that that is not the case. A Bad Boy for Christmas is an entertaining holiday read, and Ms. Lemmon did not disappoint.

Connor is in town after spending some time in the military. While visiting his friend Donovan, he meets Faith, who automatically catches his attention. They quickly become friends and fall in love but because of their jaded pasts, they both have reservations that will prevent any kind of commitment.

I love Connor and Faith story. It’s a story about two people finding love after their hearts have been broken, a second chance if you will. The journey to their happy-ending was a bit complicated. It was full of fear and doubt that I couldn’t blame them for. They also had to deal with Connor’s military background and the Shelby’s so-called family curse. As I said, they had a lot going against them but it was obvious that they wanted to try.

Their story is not all about their fears and reservations. Their courtship was adorable. The banters were hilarious, and the flirting and even the use of pet names were uber sweet. The holiday theme was added in a subtle way making it a great read to ease us into the holiday spirit.

There were plenty of page times for the other-other characters, and that’s always a treat for me. There has also been some development in the Asher-Glo department, and it’s a doozy. We get plenty of Asher and Glo page time in this novel. Let me tell you, you will feel so bad for them both as their world is about to collapse on them. I can feel an ugly cry kind of story brewing there.
