Welcome to UTC, Kristen! We are glad to have you. Let’s get started by getting to know you a little better! Who is Kristen Proby? Tell us five interesting things about yourself that your readers wouldn’t know.

Hmm… let’s see…
1. I grew up in Montana.
2. I might be addicted to Twizzlers.
3. My first car was a 1979 Chrysler Cordoba. Biggest. Car. Ever. The guys in high school used to pretend they were guiding an airplane into a parking space when I arrived at school in the morning.
4. Ice cream cures what ails you. Always.
5. I love artichokes. They’re delicious.

Your With Me in Seattle series has gained a lot of loyal readers. But for those who haven’t tried your books yet, would you like to tell them what the series is about?

The With Me In Seattle series is a family saga. Each book is about a different member of the family, so everyone gets a happy ever after. I love the dynamics between the family, how they tease each other and have fun, but also how fiercely loyal they are to one another. The love between them is truly special.

TIED WITH ME is Nic and Matt’s book. What can you tell us about this release?

Matt and Nic’s book is a bit different from the others in that Matt is a bit on the kinkier side. I also dealt with some health issues for Nic, and we see the whole family growing by leaps and bounds.

While writing this book, did you have any models or celebrities in mind as Nic and Matt?

Yes, I actually worked with a married couple who ended up posing for the cover. Nothing about their personal lives was used in the story, but they do embody the characters physically. They are Dustin and Stephanie Culp.

From this book, what was the most challenging scene to write?

Out  of all the heroes that you have written, who has been the most fun to write about and why? Oooh, this changes all the time because I love all of my heroes so much! There are two that stick out, though, and they are Will Montgomery from Play With Me because of his playful personality and how hard and fast he fell for Meg and wanted to protect her from everything. The other is Ty Sullivan from Seducing Lauren, which releases in August. Ty’s character is a delicious combination of fierce alpha guy and tender nurturer. I fell hard for Ty, right from the beginning.

If you could collaborate with another author on a project, who would you pick and why?

There are so many authors that I admire! I think that Alice Clayton and I could write one hell of a funny book together.

What’s next for Kristen Proby?

There is so much in store in the next couple of years! The With Me In Seattle series wraps up later this year. Breathe With Me releases in June and Forever With Me in October. The Love Under the Big Sky series will wrap up early next year. Seducing Lauren is coming in August and Falling for Jillian in February of 2015. There will also be a novella for the Love Under the Big Sky series called Saving Grace that will be a part of the anthology BABY, IT’S COLD OUTSIDE, releasing in October. I have two new series in the works that I can’t tell you too much about yet, but suffice to say, you can expect many more sexy love stories to come!
