I couldn’t agree any more with the title of the book, it really is “Once Upon A Billionaire”.  Talk about a fairytale! ~ Under the Covers

I rate this book 5++!  I couldn’t agree any more with the title of the book, it really is “Once Upon A Billionaire”.  Talk about a fairytale!

Jessica Clare did it again!  I didn’t think I could have another favorite couple with the Billionaire Boys Club!  If you liked Reese and Audrey’s story, you’ll definitely love the royal hero and independent heroine in Once Upon a Billionaire.  You will not be disappointed, that I promise!

Ten percent into the book, I was hooked!  The book was predictable, but I enjoyed reading it.  It was a given that Griffin Verdi would be a prick being that he is a billionaire and what other way to think of someone who has money.  Then came along Maylee Meriweather who is a southern chic trying to survive in NYC as an assistant.  She has such a good heart who will not let anybody bring her down… Kudos to Maylee for putting up with unnecessary BS and being treated the way Griffin treated her as his assistant.

Lord Montagne Verdi (Griffin Verdi) falls in love with his temporary assistant, Maylee, but will they ever get their happy ending just like a fairytale would?  When you’re from a royal family, you are suppose to act a certain way, dress a certain way, and definitely date others who are royalty.  Not Lord Montagne Verdi, he had to go through a few obstacles to get the love of his life even if she got hurt along the way.  I believe that you are suppose to fight for who you love.  High five, Griff! Oops, I mean Lord Montagne Verdi!

Reading about how they both fell in love with each other makes me so giddy!  Just getting to know Griffin Verdi and Maylee Meriweather, you’ll love Maylee’s personality from the beginning.  She’ll definitely make you laugh throughout the book and you’ll fall in love with the both of them. Don’t expect to read hot and steamy scenes as there isn’t much, it’ll eventually get there when the time is right.  I’d love to tell you much much more about their story, but it’s totally worth the read!

About Jessica Clare

This is a pen name for Jill Myles.

Jill Myles has been an incurable romantic since childhood. She reads all the 'naughty parts' of books first, looks for a dirty joke in just about everything, and thinks to this day that the Little House on the Prairie books should have been steamier.

After devouring hundreds of paperback romances, mythology books, and archaeological tomes, she decided to write a few books of her own - stories with a wild adventure, sharp banter, and lots of super-sexy situations. She prefers her heroes alpha and half-dressed, her heroines witty, and she loves nothing more than watching them overcome adversity to fall into bed together.

  1. I haven’t had a chance to read any of the books in this series but this sounds really good. Thanks for the review
