Peter Kent, the new Duke of Stanhope from Louisiana, needs to clean up his scandalous reputation to become the guardian of his half-siblings. Enter Lady Selina Ravenscroft, society’s most proper debutante with a secret: she runs an erotic circulating library for women.

Peter asks Selina for help finding a respectable bride, but their chemistry makes things complicated. The matchmaking goes hilariously wrong and despite their best efforts, the attraction between them proves impossible to resist.

Selina is a spunky, ahead-of-her-time heroine, and Peter is the perfect match for her. Their dynamic is full of sparks and humor, making for an engaging read. The supporting cast, from Peter’s mischievous siblings to Selina’s family and friends, adds to the charm. You’ll fall in love with all of them.

If you loved Bridgerton, this book is right up your alley. Selina reminded me so much of Eloise (from the TV show)! Ne’er Duke Well by Alexandra Vasti is packed with fun, hilarious moments, and a romance that’s both steamy and sweet. I think Alexandra Vasti will become a staple name in this genre and I can’t wait to read more.
