“This book is sweet, filthy, and downright sexy. Every page was such an addictive read” ~ Under the Covers
This was my very first Christina Lauren novel and in no way this will be the last. This book is sweet, filthy, and downright sexy. Every page was such an addictive read. What happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay in Vegas. In fact, this life altering weekend started in Las Vegas then went straight to Paris. Mia Holland and Ansel Guillaume know this one night stand is worth more than a typical cliché of Vegas affairs. To prove it, they will take a big leap of faith to give this relationship a chance.
I love Ansel and Mia. They are both very strong and independent characters which I love to read about. I love that they had an instant attraction for each other and are both willing to give the relationship a chance despite their friend’s disapproval. With Mia’s past and upbringing, taking risks such as this was a big step for her. Though it can be a bit dangerous, I have the utmost respect for her wanting to explore the possibilities.
Ansel…well, wow, just wow. This guy can party like a college frat boy, p
Looks like this series will be stories of each of the friends who were involved in this weekend in Vegas. There is one in particular that kept me intrigued – Perry. This character’s part of the story took me by surprise. I’m not sure if this character will have a book, but I hope CL can turn my opinion around. I was not very happy with Perry…not a very nice person.
If you don’t already know, Christina Lauren is the pen name for Christina Hobbs and Lauren Billings. I was surprised with how much I loved Christina and Lauren’s work. The first installment of Wild Season was a refreshingly hot read and I just could not put it down. If you like steamy New Adult reads, I strongly suggest trying out this novel.
